Weekend workshop: Paint the Coastal Park

This workshop takes place on Saturday 19th August 10am - 5pm and Sunday 20th August 10am - 5pm. We will spend Saturday morning in Folkestone's glorious Coastal Park, looking at compositions, textures, colours, and collecting photographs and oil pastel sketches. Later in the studio, we will map out a preparatory painting in gouache in preparation for Sunday, when we will enlarge and translate our workings-out into a large oil painting on canvas. This workshop is suitable for beginners, improvers and more experienced artists looking for a fresh approach. All materials and a healthy, vegetarian lunch provided.
